




**Your Job** Elaborate detailed production programs according to required volumes, plant capacity, and material availability, control actual production figures, and prepare program adjustments when necessary, seeking to optimize shipping costs to meet customer demands on time and at the lowest possible cost. **Our Team** Your decisions strongly impact production, as they can stop machines and change priorities, which may affect plant performance. The level of guidance you receive from your supervisor is primarily through reviewing results of the metrics you are responsible for, such as MPD (Molex Promise Date) and CRD (Customer Request Date). Authorized to make decisions affecting customers and production, such as stopping production lines, approving overtime, making raw material purchases up to $150,000, authorizing sudden planning changes due to customer requirements; based on production capacity analysis, you may suggest hiring additional resources. **What you will do** * Sign manufacturing orders and convert them into production orders using SAP (enterprise software for managing operations and customer relationships) to request components for production scheduling. * Sign purchase orders (POs) and/or stock transfer orders (STOs) within the replenishment lead time period and confirm delivery dates with suppliers to ensure component availability during the corresponding period. * Balance workloads across work centers by releasing production orders, considering priorities and capacity to achieve key metrics (Molex Promise Date or MPD and Customer Request Date or CRD). * Track customer orders through open order reports (ZVRR3086\), gather data, analyze, and resolve issues that could prevent timely shipment of finished goods. * Run MRP for components and expedite them to suppliers when necessary to avoid late delivery of final products to customers. (Z9mm68, ZMRR3109, /N/GIB/DCO) * Maintain constant communication with Customer Service via CICs for expedites through emails, phone calls, and keep the CIC report (intranet report) updated to respond to customer expediting requests. * Follow up on confirmed finished goods using the ZVRR3086 report to ensure proper documentation (Delivery Note) is generated and shipments are dispatched. * Keep the internal and external supplier expediting report updated through weekly meetings coordinated by the planning supervisor, who assigns priorities and escalates urgencies. * Coordinate part number transfers with the program manager and the transfer team to prevent excess finished goods and obsolete components. * Monitor for COGI errors or negative inventory (system errors) by running reports to prevent inventory discrepancies and follow up with the materialist. * Understand, support, and contribute to the implementation of the PBM Philosophy, various Quality Management standards in which the company is certified, Safety and Hygiene, Environmental Management Systems, Six Sigma, RBA (Responsible Business Alliance), and CTPAT/OEA, following established policies and procedures. * Perform duties related to the position. **Who You Are** * Completed bachelor's degree * 3 years of experience in a similar role * Advanced English proficiency * SAP knowledge **What Will put you ahead** * Industrial Engineering background * APICS certification At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
