Job Summary: Logistics Planning / Simulation and Optimization Manager, responsible for developing and maintaining logistical models to ensure customer service levels. Key Highlights: 1. Design and develop simulation models and "what-if" scenarios. 2. Generate bottleneck analysis and propose logistical improvements. 3. Validate, calibrate, and document network models to ensure accuracy. **Job Description** ---------------------- Develop, implement, and maintain end-to-end logistics chain models and workflows, ensuring customer service levels. As a Logistics Planning / Simulation and Optimization Manager, you will be responsible for the following activities: You will design and develop discrete or dynamic simulation models, as well as "what\-if" scenarios, using optimization tools (Llamasoft, AnyLogic, Arena, Phyton). You will generate analysis of current bottlenecks, establish achievable short-, medium-, and long-term proposals, evaluate the impact of strategic or operational decisions, and estimate system capacity under various conditions. You will analyze and evaluate different network scenarios and their respective outcomes (warehouse openings \| closures, relocations, supplier changes, demand changes). You will ensure improvement proposals that enhance network efficiency without compromising any variable. You will validate, calibrate, and document developed network models, guaranteeing accuracy and reliability of results. You will perform statistical, quantitative, and historical data analysis to develop forecasts and estimates. Workplace: Santa Fe.
