Import and Export Analyst

Description

Knowledge: Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Business, or related field. 3 to 5 years of experience in the area. Knowledge of the IMMEX program administration. General knowledge of customs law, regulations, and rules. Knowledge of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and USMCA. Ability to analyze information and make decisions. Frustration tolerance. Intermediate to advanced English language proficiency. EXPERIENCE Knowledge of import and export customs clearance for maritime, land, and air customs. Coordinate customs brokerage processes following guidelines for Mexican and U.S. customs. Collaborate with internal departments—Traffic, Engineering, and Warehouse—regarding shipments and receipts. Close virtual import/export transfers in accordance with company procedures. Maintain control and enter packing lists and/or invoices into the Annex 24 system. Develop departmental procedures for Import & Export. Prepare the annual Foreign Trade Report / R8 / CIVA. Manage Import and Export operations (invoices and customs entries, reconciliations, registration of part numbers in Annex 24). Review and analyze material BOMs. Fixed asset control. Raw material inventory control (FIFO). Administration and virtual closings. Review and closing of consolidated customs entries. Knowledge of Customs Law. IMMEX program administration. Knowledge of PROSEC, VAT-IEPS certification, and C-TPAT. Monitoring compliance with obligations as a Certified Company. Review and validation of Chargeback reports. Use of A24 system (BMS preferred).
