Environmental culture promotion and training **Job Objective** Conduct on-site supervision of compliance with environmental regulations during construction project execution, ensuring correct implementation of preventive, mitigation, and control measures for environmental impacts in accordance with current regulations and project guidelines. **Functions and Responsibilities** **Field Supervision:** * Verify compliance with environmental measures established in the project. * Conduct daily site inspections to identify environmental risks and impacts. * Supervise contractors’ and personnel’s environmental-related activities. * Ensure proper use of designated areas for waste, materials, and machinery. **Waste Control:** * Supervise proper segregation, storage, and disposal of waste. * Verify handling of hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. * Maintain logs and records of waste generated on site. **Regulatory Compliance:** * Ensure compliance with environmental regulations (SEMARNAT, PROFEPA, local authorities). * Support responses to environmental inspections and audits. * Verify possession of valid permits, licenses, and documentation. **Monitoring and Reporting:** * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly environmental compliance reports. * Report environmental incidents or deviations. * Document photographic evidence and compliance records. **Training and Environmental Culture:** * Deliver environmental induction and training sessions to site personnel. * Promote good environmental practices on site. * Support environmental awareness campaigns. **Position Profile** **Education:** * Technical diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field. **Experience:** * 1–3 years of experience in environmental supervision on construction sites or construction projects. **Technical Knowledge:** * Mexican environmental regulations. * Handling of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. * Identification of environmental aspects and impacts. * Preparation of reports and logs. * Basic knowledge of environmental management systems (ISO 14001 preferred). **Skills:** * Observation and attention to detail. * Fieldwork capability. * Effective communication. * Organization and follow-up. * Proactivity.
