We seek a **Data Engineer with a strong analytical focus** and experience in **data-driven process improvement and automation**. The person in this role will be responsible for **transforming data into strategic information**, closely collaborating with **finance and technology development teams** to optimize processes, drive initiatives in **advanced analytics and predictive analysis**, and support data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate will have the ability to **act as a bridge between business areas and technical teams**, understanding financial needs and translating them into scalable, automated data solutions. ### **Responsibilities** * Analyze current processes to identify **opportunities for automation and optimization through data**. * Design and develop **efficient and scalable data pipelines**. * Build **advanced analytics and predictive analysis models** that deliver business value. * Translate finance department requirements into **technical data solutions**. * Integrate, transform, and model large volumes of data from multiple sources. * Collaborate with **development, BI, and finance teams** to implement analytics solutions. * Build reliable reports, dashboards, and datasets for strategic analysis. * Ensure **data quality, integrity, and availability**. ### **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in **Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field**. * **3–5 years of experience** in data engineering or advanced data analytics. * Experience in **data-driven process automation**. * Solid proficiency in structured and unstructured databases. * Advanced proficiency in Excel. * Experience with tools or languages such as: * Python or R for data analysis * ETL * Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) * Knowledge of data modeling and predictive analytics. * Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. ### **Key Competencies** * Analytical thinking and data orientation * Communication ability across technical and business areas * Focus on continuous improvement and automation * Complex problem-solving skills * Collaborative teamwork * Leadership in project management—translating business needs into technical solutions ### **Desirable** * Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) * Knowledge of data warehousing or modern data architectures * Experience in analytics projects for finance departments ### **We Offer** Freelancer arrangement (Professional Services)
