You will serve as the bridge between complex data stored in **Google BigQuery** and evidence-based decision-making through **Looker**. Your mission is to ensure the organization maintains a reliable and visually clear "single source of truth." **Key Responsibilities** * **Modeling and Extraction:** Design, optimize, and maintain complex **SQL** queries to extract data from diverse sources. * **BigQuery Architecture:** Manage and optimize datasets, ensuring efficient query performance and scalable data structure. * **Visualization and BI:** Develop interactive dashboards and automated reports in **Looker (LookML)** enabling stakeholders to monitor KPIs in real time. * **Data Governance:** Implement and document consistent business logic within data modeling layers. * **Proactive Collaboration:** Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Finance teams to understand their needs and translate business questions into analytical solutions. **Required Technical Profile** * **SQL (Expert Level):** Proficiency in CTEs, window functions, join optimization, and data cleaning. * **Google BigQuery:** Experience managing petabyte-scale databases, partitioning, clustering, and query cost management. * **Looker (LookML):** Ability to write and maintain LookML code (Views, Explores, Refinements) to build robust data models. * **Modern Data Stack:** Familiarity with transformation tools such as **dbt**, and version control with **Git** is desirable. * Programming languages: Not required but Python, C#, or JavaScript are recommended. **Soft Skills** * **Assertive Communication:** Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. * **Critical Thinking:** Go beyond delivering data—question the "why" behind trends. * **Attention to Detail:** Extreme rigor to ensure numerical accuracy (a single decimal error could alter a million-dollar decision). *DAY SHIFT* *MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 8:30 AM TO 6:00 PM* *SATURDAYS: REMOTE WORK* *STATUTORY BENEFITS* * Year-end bonus: 15 days * Statutory vacation: 12 days in the first year * Savings fund * Vacation premium: 25% * Full IMSS registration from day one.
