Project overview: The project focuses on enabling data driven decision making through well structured, scalable, and reliable analytical data models. The team designs and maintains the pipelines and structures that power analytical use cases, operational systems, and digital products across the LATAM region. Position overview: We are looking for a Middle Analytics Engineer with strong skills in data modeling and a comprehensive understanding of how data moves from generation to consumption. You will support business teams in building and operating their own data products while ensuring clarity, consistency, and governance across all analytical assets. This person will bridge data engineering, analytics, and product teams, helping scale the organization toward a self service data model. Technology stack: BigQuery, Dataform, Python, Git, CI CD workflows, Terraform, APIs, Google Cloud Platform, BI tools such as Looker * Responsibilities: Design and maintain data models that serve analytical and business needs * Analyze the current state of data models and identify gaps and improvement opportunities * Promote best practices in modeling, documentation, data quality, and governance * Translate business requirements into structured and reusable data models * Collaborate with product, analytics, technology, and business partners * Support teams in the correct usage of Dataform, BigQuery, Git, and CI CD tools * Ensure consistent definitions of business metrics and KPIs * Work with Data Engineers to align on data quality and upstream availability * Enable data consumption in BI tools and support self service analytics * Participate in code and design reviews to ensure adherence to standards * Create reusable templates, guidelines, and scalable data patterns * Promote data literacy and data informed decision making across teams * Engage in project planning and prioritization based on impact and scalability * 3 years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Analytics, or similar roles * Proficiency in SQL and BigQuery * Experience with Dataform or similar frameworks such as dbt * Understanding of data modeling concepts including dimensional modeling, data marts, and metrics definitions * Experience with BI tools such as Looker * Proficiency in Python for analysis and exploration * Familiarity with Git and CI CD principles * Understanding of data governance, data quality, and documentation approaches * Ability to communicate with both technical and non technical stakeholders * Experience working in Agile environments * Fluency in Spanish and intermediate English * Nice to have: Experience working in Google Cloud Platform * Exposure to DataOps practices * Experience contributing to data product development
