General Job Overview: We are seeking a 5-axis CNC Technician to safely and precisely operate computer numerical control (CNC) machinery to perform a variety of functions. CNC Technicians are highly skilled professionals capable of working with great concentration and precision. They must be responsible and comply with safety guidelines. They must possess keen attention to detail and strong mechanical aptitude. The objective is to produce high-quality parts and materials by programming machines to perform correct operations. Responsibilities: * Prepare and operate 5-axis CNC machines for tasks such as drilling, tapping, milling, etc. * Understand task specifications and expected outcomes by interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. * Translate instructions into computer commands so machines perform jobs correctly. * Prepare and load raw materials and parts into the machine. * Run the program in test mode to verify whether the machine produces outputs according to specifications. * Configure machines for full-cycle operation to manufacture large quantities of parts. * Monitor machines during operation and make any necessary adjustments to improve output quality. * Inspect and measure finished products and compare them against requirements to determine whether processes were completed properly. * Perform daily inspection and maintenance of machinery to ensure proper functioning. Requirements: * Minimum 5 years of experience as a 3-axis CNC Technician. * Proficiency in operating machinery, tools, and measuring instruments. * Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and blueprints. * Computer literacy with basic CAD/CAM programming knowledge. * Mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills. * Create, optimize, and validate 5-axis CNC toolpaths for cores, cavities, lifters, sliders, inserts, and electrodes used in injection molds. * Ensure appropriate machining on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines as required. * Keen attention to detail and results-driven motivation. * Strong communication skills. * High school diploma or equivalent; engineering degree is a plus. * Successful completion of the training period is required.
