Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled upholsterer passionate about carpentry, with experience in upholstering custom-made home furniture. Key Highlights: 1. Furniture \& Design ateliercentral.com.mx POSITION: SKILLED UPHOLSTERER We are looking for a skilled upholsterer at a custom home furniture company! Are you passionate about carpentry and do you have experience upholstering new home furniture pieces? This opportunity is for you! JOB REQUIREMENTS: Technical upholstery knowledge, including: 1\. Frame construction 2\. Foam cutting and shaping 3\. Fabric cutting 4\. Sewing 5\. Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines: 6\. Straight-stitch sewing machine 7\. Overlock machine 8\. Knowledge of thread count and seam type applications 9\. Ability to identify different types and densities of foam. 10\. Handling of fabrics and materials specific to upholstery. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of pattern development and drafting. SKILLS: · Ability to work in a team and adapt to collaborative dynamics. · Availability to work overtime when required · Industrial straight-stitch or overlock sewing machine (stitch styles and types). · Handling of upholstery fabrics Employment Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term Salary: $2,500.00 \- $3,000.00 per week Benefits: · Option for an indefinite-term contract · Complimentary uniforms · Statutory benefits · Collaborative and respectful work environment.
