They are responsible for designing processes that will enhance productivity and reduce manufacturing costs. They develop work procedures, define equipment operating parameters, and create process specifications. They lead the implementation of improvements in quality, productivity, cost, and efficiency. They establish and achieve ambitious objectives and strive for continuous improvement, delivering results in a timely manner. **ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods * Must conduct root cause analysis for each process-related issue and deliver results within the established timeframe * Improve operational quality levels through enhanced methodologies for systems such as Six Sigma, EA, 8D, 3P, TQM, etc. * Analyze and plan labor utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and design equipment and space layout for maximum efficiency * Plan and perform root cause analysis on electronic boards to reduce failures in functional test equipment * Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions. * Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and their potential.
