




Job Summary: We are seeking a tariff classifier to perform accurate classification of goods, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide advisory services on foreign trade matters. Key Responsibilities: 1. Tariff classification of goods and regulatory compliance 2. Expert advisory services on customs legislation and foreign trade 3. Compilation of case files and review of applicable legislation **Job Description** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Customs Administration, International Business, or related field **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in a tariff classification role **Job Knowledge:** * Tariff classification; experience with textile, footwear, and apparel clients * Compliance with RRNA (Regulatory Requirements for Non-Tariff Measures), with emphasis on legal basis **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, 30-minute lunch break **Work Location:** Col. Centro, Veracruz, Ver. **Key Responsibilities:** * 1\. Provide correct tariff classification (NCO) of goods in accordance with the LIGIE (General Import and Export Tax Law) and information provided by the account executive / client 2\. Identify applicable RRNA requirements based on agreements establishing their enforcement 3\. Compile case files for goods difficult to identify (e.g., sample collection, technical specifications, reports due to incorrect tariff classification) 4\. Confirm the FA (Customs Declaration Form) and its compliance with RRNA requirements following preliminary examination of goods 5\. Provide internal and external advisory services on regulatory matters related to classification (NICO), Customs Law, trade agreements, NOMs (Official Mexican Standards), etc. 6\. Prepare monthly activity reports supported by the SSC (Supply Chain System) 7\.
