Administer customs programs and benefits such as IMMEX and PROSEC. **Job Description:** ### **Position Objective** Ensure legal and operational compliance of import and export operations, minimizing fiscal and customs risks, optimizing costs, and guaranteeing supply chain continuity through analysis, control, and improvement of customs processes. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Manage and supervise import and export customs operations. * Ensure compliance with current customs and foreign trade legislation. * Conduct technical review of customs documentation, including customs entries (pedimentos) and annexes. * Administer and monitor customs programs and benefits such as IMMEX, PROSEC, and Free Trade Agreements. * Manage and ensure compliance with Annex 24, ensuring inventory control, reconciliations, write-offs, and consistency among systems, customs entries (pedimentos), and official reports. * Analyze and determine applicable duties and taxes for operations. * Provide technical support to internal departments (Procurement, Finance, Planning) on customs and foreign trade matters. * Train and guide junior staff within the department. * Ensure compliance with Quality Management System processes according to established standards. ### **Position Requirements** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree. * **Experience:** Minimum 5 years in foreign trade, customs, or similar roles. * **English:** Intermediate level. ### **Technical Knowledge** * Customs legislation and foreign trade regulations. * Customs entry (pedimento) classification and description. * Determination of duties and taxes. * Use of customs systems and platforms. * Intermediate-level Excel proficiency. * Annex 24: IMMEX inventory control, reconciliations, write-offs, report management, and regulatory compliance. ### **Skills** * Effective communication. * Teamwork. * Problem-solving. * Proactive attitude and adaptability.
