Keep procurement documentation up to date We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to provide operational and administrative support to the procurement process, ensuring that purchase requests, purchase orders, documentation, and supplier follow-up are executed efficiently and promptly, enabling the procurement team and operations to function without interruptions. The main objective of this position is to ensure the proper issuance, control, and tracking of purchases to guarantee timely supply and prevent operational delays, as well as to provide logistics tracking to the end customer of purchased or manufactured goods. Key responsibilities include: * Process: Generate accurate and timely purchase orders (backup) * Follow up: Ensure on-time deliveries from suppliers * Manage: Keep procurement documentation up to date * Coordinate: Address internal customers’ requirements * Verify: Ensure correct documentary receipt of materials * Compare: Support supplier selection (operational level) * Monitor: Maintain data integrity in the procurement system (ERP) * Minimum required education (degree): Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and/or International Business, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field. * Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial sectors (Chemicals, Steel, Engineering), in roles such as intern, procurement assistant/junior buyer, foreign trade specialist, traffic coordinator, logistics or distribution associate. * Essential technical knowledge: Supply chain, procurement, and foreign trade expertise. * Experience in domestic logistics projects. * English: Intermediate–Advanced * Required tools: JDE (desirable), Excel, PowerApps, MS Teams, PowerPoint, AI tools.
