This position is responsible for managing the production planning functions of DMTY operations for current and future businesses on Make to Order Manufacturing Strategy. The successful candidate will be able to adapt and understand evolving customer expectations, complexity in manufacturing operations and changes in organizational priorities. This position will control and lead the production planning resources required to ensure On Time Delivery, while optimizing inventory and keep an efficient Value Stream Mapping. This position will work closely with our Operations and Production teams reporting performance and identifying countermeasures to support needed improvement. Key performance indicators (KPI’s) for this position are customer on time delivery, plant late backlog, and inventory turnover performance (DIO). Key accountabilities are as follows: Customer Satisfaction* Manage on time customer order processing. (Need to develop) * Work with the demand planning team to ensure that customer latest forecast is used for internal planning, and identify any planning parameter changes needed to offset negative performance * Conduct regular analysis, Gemba walks, and work with demand planners mitigate potential risks. * Actively participate in S\&OP process and meetings. Work closely with demand planning team and commercial leaders set an accurate operational forecast for the business. Supply Planning:* Manage stock availability and optimum supply of inventory ensuring timely replenishment of inventory. * Understand risks of supply and operations, conduct timely analysis, and implement recovery plans to mitigate business risks (If applicable). * Engage and collaborate with cross\-functional leaders/teams and external suppliers to deliver business metrics. * Closely monitor MRP performance and take necessary timely action to maintain an accurate supply plan. Setup and validate to ensure high accuracy of planning parameters are maintained in ERP for finished products. * Responsible for data crunching \& analysis to facilitate data driven decision making. * Responsible for driving standard work and supply planning process improvement. Inventory Management:* Manage inventory health (slow moving, obsolete, phase in\-phase out) and provide visibility to stakeholders for inventory projection and action to achieve inventory target. * Identify E\&O and follow through on disposition and reduction opportunities. Drive root cause analysis and CI to prevent new occurrence. * Continuously review and refine part setups to achieve optimum inventory performance. Develop relationships with the operations and procurement teams to help support improved lead times and fill performance Key Qualifications \& Requirements: Education Qualification:* Degree in Business Management/Supply Chain Management or equivalent * CPIM * Tertiary qualification is considered as added advantage. Technical Competence \& Skills:* Ability to effectively manage on site/remote team members. * Ability to understand timely business needs and deploy strategies to achieve business needs. * A good team player, proactive and able to work under pressure. * Recognize knowledge gaps of the team and upskill the team to improve the efficiency * Ability to work independently and hands\-on. * Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skill; good analysis and interpersonal skills. * Process oriented and strong problem\-solving skills. Relevant Experience:* Min. 10 years' relevant experience in ERP, Inventory Planning and Management, Supply chain planning, International Trade and familiar with ISO 900 I :2000 Certification * Prior supervisory experience in managing a supply chain team driving KPIs Employment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
