




Position Summary: We are seeking a professional to manage imports, from purchase order placement through to warehouse receipt, including logistics and customs coordination. Key Highlights: 1. End-to-end management of international imports 2. Sourcing and comparison of logistics providers 3. Coordination of shipping lines, carriers, and customs brokers **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Place international purchase orders and track them until warehouse receipt * Identify new logistics providers (shipping lines and freight forwarders); compare rates * Supervise physical inventory count upon product arrival * Monitor order transit; coordinate shipping lines / carriers and customs broker * Report defective products to suppliers * Prepare customs letters * Administrative tasks **REQUIREMENTS** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade or International Business (degree preferred) * English proficiency: 80% written, with mandatory ability to communicate via telephone or Zoom * Minimum 2 years’ proven and verifiable experience handling imports, preferably food-related, via both maritime and land customs * Knowledge of NOM-051 (preferred) * Familiarity with customs terminology and application: Incoterms, import clearance, IGI, TIGIE consultation, and tariff classification analysis * Review of customs declarations and calculation of duties/taxes * Review of expense accounts * Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills * SAP Business One knowledge preferred (priority given to candidates meeting this requirement) **SKILLS** * Strong organizational and planning abilities * Rigorous follow-up and control * Numerical aptitude * Problem-solving capability **WORK SCHEDULE**: Monday to Friday, 8:00–18:00 hrs; Saturdays, 8:00–12:00 hrs Employment Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term contract Salary: $13,000.00 – $15,000.00 per month Benefits: * Grocery vouchers Work Location: On-site employment
