




Position Summary: A foreign trade and international logistics professional responsible for managing cost projections, customs procedures, logistics tracking, and product development. Key Highlights: 1. Leads comprehensive management of imports and international logistics. 2. Ensures regulatory and customs compliance. 3. Collaborates in product development and brand verification. Main responsibilities include: · Preparing cost projections based on FOB quotations and projects, final cost to DOD cost. · Managing all regulations related to permits, registries, and procedures required for customs clearance and container release. · Conducting detailed tracking of each stage of the logistics process—from FOB negotiation to DOD arrival—ensuring collection of all required documentation, tax payments, and other necessary processes for container clearance and delivery. · Participating in product development, as well as verification of brands, designs, labeling, and UVA. Key Responsibilities: · Technical review of tariff classification according to TIGIE and the Harmonized System. · Validation of applicable taxes, restrictions, and NOMs or regulations per tariff classification. · Tracking negotiations with international suppliers, ensuring compliance with commercial terms (FOB, CIF, DOD). · Coordination and negotiation with shipping lines for maritime imports. · Negotiation with land transportation companies from Manzanillo to CDMX or other national destinations. · Review and collection of import documentation: invoice, packing list, certificates of origin, BL, permits, etc. · Organization of physical and digital files in accordance with audits and tax requirements. · Support to accounting and tax departments for closing logistics files. Profile Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, International Relations, or related field. · Minimum 3 years of experience in import operations and international logistics. · In-depth knowledge of Incoterms 2020 (CIF, FOB, DOD). · Proficiency in TIGIE, SNICE, VUCEM, and current customs legislation. · Strong commercial and logistics negotiation skills with foreign suppliers. · Intermediate\-advanced English (written negotiation, technical communication, and follow\-up). · Proficiency in document management tools and Excel.
