Description
JOB OBJECTIVE
Responsible for ensuring comprehensive financial control of the company, guaranteeing a healthy cash flow, proper collection management, timely compliance with tax obligations, and correct administration of intercompany operations. Provides support for strategic decision-making, backed by a strong technical accounting foundation and specialization in international trade, as well as tax management including IEPS, VAT, ISR, and payroll.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Coordinate and control intercompany operations.
* Provide reliable and timely financial information to support strategic decision-making.
* Supervise the correct application of current accounting and tax regulations.
* Manage and ensure compliance with taxes such as IEPS, VAT, ISR, and payroll.
* Support matters related to international trade and their fiscal and financial impact.
* Supervise and ensure a healthy and sustainable cash flow (weekly and projected).
* Supervise invoicing and monitor collections to ensure timely recovery of receivables.
* Control of overdue receivables.
* Customer credit validation.
* Ensure timely and proper fulfillment of tax obligations.
* Accounting and tax supervision (coordination with external accounting firm).
* Expense control and analysis.
* Generation of financial and accounting reports.
* Implementation of internal controls.
* Coordination with sales and supply chain departments.
* Management and leadership of the administrative team.
CRITICAL TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
* Special Tax on Production and Services (IEPS):
o Handling of applicable rates based on the alcohol content of wine.
o Volume control and compliance with SAT-issued labels and seals.
* International Trade:
o Interpretation and accounting recording of import declarations, tariffs, and import VAT.
o Costing of imports, including international freight and insurance.
o Validation of electronic international trade files.
* Regulatory and Tax Framework:
o Proficiency in Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and international standards (NIIF/IFRS).
o Management of foreign exchange variation and its impact on financial statements.
o Compliance with the Importers Registry and Specific Sectors Registry.
