**We are hiring: Accounting Manager** **A prominent company is seeking a highly professional, results-oriented Accounting Leader**, responsible for ensuring that all financial information accurately reflects the business reality, while maintaining strict accounting, tax, and operational control. Leadership, integrity, and technical excellence will be essential to ensure flawless operations and the development of the team under supervision. **Key Responsibilities** **General Accounting** * Ensure accurate accounting of all business transactions. * Coordinate monthly financial closings and balance reconciliations. * Prepare and sign financial statements (professional degree and license required). **Taxation** * Supervise monthly/annual calculation and payment of taxes (income tax, VAT, special excise tax, duties, etc.). * Manage SAT audits and ensure precise tax reconciliation. **VAT Refunds** * Submit error-free refund applications and respond promptly to requests. * Implement controls to ensure materiality and deductibility (CFDI 4.0). **Asset Control** * Supervise asset acquisition, depreciation, disposal, and transfer of fixed and intangible assets. **Payroll** * Supervise weekly/biweekly payroll calculation and payment, as well as compensation disbursements. * Ensure full compliance with IMSS, Infonavit, FONACOT, and SAT requirements. **International Consolidation** * Coordinate with headquarters for MX-GAAP / US-GAAP reporting and global closings. **Skills and Leadership** We seek someone who: * Inspires, motivates, and develops their team. * Promotes an environment of excellence, camaraderie, and continuous improvement. * Makes decisions with integrity and precision. * Leads by example: fast, accurate, and with high quality standards. * Celebrates team successes and takes ownership of areas needing improvement. **Requirements** * **Mandatory:** Professional degree and license in Accounting (required for signing financial statements). * Solid experience in general accounting, taxation, payroll, and asset control. * Proven leadership of accounting teams. * Technical excellence and attention to detail.
