Job Summary: Ecocentro is seeking an engineering intern to support the design, calculation, supervision, and management of photovoltaic projects, as well as technical documentation. Photovoltaic Engineering Intern Ecocentro is looking for an intern to join its Photovoltaic Engineering and Projects Department. Main Responsibilities: On-site technical surveys * Assisting in collecting physical, electrical, and structural data for photovoltaic installations. * Preparing technical reports with photographs, measurements, and site conditions. Photovoltaic system design * Assisting in preliminary sizing of residential and commercial photovoltaic systems. * Basic shading, orientation, and tilt analysis. * Developing models and drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp. Technical calculations and analysis * Assisting in calculations for installed capacity, estimated energy production, and component selection. * Preparing diagrams and technical documentation. Material management and procurement * Assisting in preparing material lists and procurement. Site supervision and field support * Participating in and monitoring photovoltaic installation processes. General engineering and project management support * Assisting in technical documentation, presentations, and proposals. * Reviewing drawings, technical specifications, and electrical diagrams. * Internal project tracking. Requirements: * Currently enrolled in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Civil Engineering, or a related field. * Basic knowledge of photovoltaic systems. * Basic to intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp. * Availability for on-site visits. * Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
