We are looking for a committed and proactive professional to lead the maintenance department of our hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel facilities and equipment are in optimal condition, guaranteeing a safe and pleasant experience for our guests and staff. Responsibilities * Supervise and coordinate all preventive and corrective maintenance activities in the hotel, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen equipment, elevators, among others. * Plan and execute preventive maintenance tasks to ensure proper operation and extend the lifespan of equipment and systems. * Coordinate and supervise renovation, remodeling, and facility improvement projects. * Manage and control the budget allocated to the maintenance department. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and current laws, as well as ensure that facilities meet quality and cleanliness standards. * Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and reception, to address maintenance needs and requirements. * Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and generate regular reports for hotel management. * Evaluate and select external suppliers and contractors for maintenance and repair work. * Develop and train the maintenance team in safety practices, maintenance techniques, and operational protocols. Requirements * Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance roles, preferably in the hospitality industry. * Technical education in related fields such as engineering, electricity, plumbing, or similar. * Solid knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, electricity, plumbing, and other technical equipment. * Leadership skills and ability to coordinate a maintenance technician team. * Ability to effectively solve problems and make informed decisions. * Budget management competencies and administrative skills. * Ability to communicate effectively with the team and other departments. * Awareness of safety regulations and knowledge of applicable standards. * Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and work in a dynamic environment.
