You will participate in high-impact projects, supporting the **design and implementation** of evidence-based strategies, policies, and models. Additionally, you will contribute to **results measurement** through **controlled experimentation and other causal evaluation tools**, driving continuous improvement of products and processes. This position combines **hands-on learning**, exposure to real business problems, and development of advanced analytical skills, supported by mentorship from senior data specialists and data scientists to maximize your professional growth and organizational impact. We seek candidates with a strong quantitative background, intellectual curiosity, and interest in applying analytical methods to solve real business problems. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Economics, Applied Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, or related fields; proficiency in SQL and R or Python; and extensive knowledge of econometric models, machine learning, and causal inference methodologies. Furthermore, the candidate must be able to translate data into strategic decisions. **Key Responsibilities:** * Analyze large volumes of data related to customers, products, and financial performance. * Build and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, cleaning, and validation. * Develop statistical analyses and exploratory models in R or Python. * Support the construction, evaluation, and interpretation of predictive and descriptive models. * Collaborate in the design and analysis of controlled experiments and other causal inference methodologies. * Prepare reports, dashboards, or executive presentations that clearly and structurally communicate insights. * Work cross-functionally with product, risk, and business units. **Requirements:** * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Applied Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, or a related discipline * Years of Experience: No minimum required * Experience Areas: Financial Services and Data Science (preferred) * One or more of the following: + Knowledge of econometric and machine learning methodologies and models (supervised and unsupervised) for regression, classification, *clustering*, etc. + Knowledge of controlled experiments and other causal inference methodologies * Proficiency in SQL and R or Python * Languages: Advanced English * Willingness to travel: Not applicable * Willingness to relocate: Not applicable At Grupo Financiero Banorte, we foster a culture of inclusion, respect, and equity.
