The main responsibility of the Engineering Assistant Manager is to help the Maintenance Director ensure the complete satisfaction of guests, customers, investors, and employees through the proper and timely administration of financial, human, material, and supply resources, as well as the maintenance and upkeep of the resort. Responsibilities * Good knowledge of handling guest requests to avoid complaints. * Ensure 100% compliance with the service and quality standards of Maintenance by inspecting the areas and providing immediate feedback to the person in charge of correction. * Ensure adequate communication with the Operations Committee and other staff involved in guest service responsibilities. * Ensure proper communication within the departments, enforcing the departmental meeting schedule, as well as participating directly in the meetings of the different maintenance areas of the hotel. * Ensure optimal maintenance of all Casitas and Residences through compliance with the perfect room program to be performed at least twice a year, ensuring the random, staggered and controlled review of at least 02 rooms per day in the hotel. * Ensure the proper and rational use of tools, operating equipment, equipment manuals, drawings, preventive maintenance software and work orders, properties and facilities through the proper preparation, updating and dissemination of departmental operating manuals, fixed asset (operating equipment) reviews and weekly scheduled inspections. * Ensure strict compliance with quality standards, procedures, policies, as well as internal regulations, through strict discipline (within a framework of respect) and control of disciplinary measures, administrative actions, suspension, etc. * Ensure a working environment that allows for smooth functioning through attendance at each monthly department meeting and timely payment of overtime, equitable distribution of workloads, encouragement of internal promotions and fair (face\-to\-face) evaluation of each employee's performance. * Maintain records related to the daily operations of Engineering. * Ensure the proper maintenance of the mechanical rooms, service building, gardens, aquatic elements, swimming pools and electromechanical areas of the Resort. Qualifications * Minimum of three years of experience in the position. * Preferably a graduate in electromechanical engineering. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (Spanish and English). * Use of Microsoft Office and hotel management software (Adaco, Easy clocking, Office package). * Strong organizational skills. * Sensitive to different cultural backgrounds. * Able to handle a multitude of tasks in a fast\-paced, intense environment. * Good people skills and ability to work under pressure and with diverse stakeholders.
