Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **Job Description:** Implements nursing activities in occupational health services and ensures compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations. **What You'll Do:** * Provide on-site nursing care to ensure employee safety; investigate accidents and inspect health or safety hazards. * Ensure implementation of occupational health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations. * Provide health and safety awareness information to promote overall employee well-being in the workplace. * Support the development and coordination of patient care plans for a client company. * Hold an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) degree and maintain a valid state license as a Registered Nurse (RN). * Provide support and assistance to the company’s medical staff. * Manage medications and medical supplies. **Skills You Have:** * **Office Support Tools:** Knowledge of commonly used office hardware, software, and equipment; ability to use tools available in the desktop environment (e.g., word processors, email, presentation software, spreadsheets). Identifies the current office software environment and its component products. Describes basic office application concepts and terminology. Uses key functions of available desktop software effectively. Employs support resources such as manuals, online help, help desks, and tutorials as needed. * **Medical Records Management:** Knowledge of concepts, methods, tools, and applications used in medical records management; ability to document, administer, and maintain patient records according to established processes and guidelines. Enters patient information and medical data into appropriate systems, ensuring record integrity and accuracy. Understands and explains key areas of legislation related to medical records management. Applies record retention and destruction procedures to comply with local and state regulations. Implements security and access controls to ensure confidentiality of information and patient privacy. Uses various medical records management applications and coding software. * **Medical Devices and Tools:** Knowledge of medical devices and tools, and ability to use them in patient assessment and treatment. Assists medical staff in using less common devices for treating serious illnesses and injuries. Monitors device status, documents findings, and reports them to appropriate personnel. * **Nursing Assessment and Care – HNU:** Knowledge of policies, processes, and activities related to nursing assessment and care; ability to assess care needs, develop and implement care plans, monitor patient progress, and make adjustments as necessary. Describes tools and procedures used in initial and follow-up assessments.
