As a Continuous Improvement Intern, you will have the opportunity to support trend analysis of the plant teams’ average efficiency management system, implement productivity improvements, and optimize quality control timelines through reduced review and reporting times—by implementing spreadsheet validation and designing pre-filled templates. **What You’ll Do** * Monitor and map production and laboratory processes. * Collect process information, analyze, design, and implement process improvements. * Monitor and analyze format change processes in manufacturing and packaging areas to develop guidelines enabling standardization of activities and the most efficient workflow. * Map administrative and laboratory analysis processes to identify opportunities for improvement and implement measures to reduce processing time—such as pre-filled templates, validated spreadsheets, among others. **Required Qualifications:** * Currently enrolled student, minimum 5th semester, in Biomedical Engineering, Biosciences Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Pharmacy and Biochemistry (QFB). * Strong teamwork skills * Organizational skills * Proactive attitude * Initiative * Basic to intermediate Excel proficiency * Intermediate to advanced English proficiency * Availability to work mornings (8 AM to 3 PM schedule) * Proficiency in Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) **We Offer:** * Competitive monthly scholarship * Complimentary cafeteria access * Complimentary parking * Employee discount on Abbott products * Work location: Calzada de Tlalpan #3092 (Light Rail Station: Textitlán) Connect with us at www.abbott.com, on Facebook at www.facebook.com/Abbott, and on Twitter @AbbottNews and @AbbottGlobal.
