THE HOME DEPOT **TLATILCO** “We invite you to join the Orange Family, embrace its values and culture” ***CASHIER*** **Responsibilities:** * Greet, assist, and process customer payments as needed. * Ensure accurate payment processing for merchandise (scanning each item individually) and verify each transaction on-screen. * Execute corporate initiatives such as fundraising drives, referrals (offering The Home Depot credit card), and encouraging customers to complete the online survey (VOC) to measure in-store service quality. * Knowledge of banking promotions. * Maintain accurate sales records and properly document received payment forms—including checks, food vouchers, cash, bank cards, and Home Depot cards—while strictly adhering to store procedures for proper cash handling. * Perform partial cash withdrawals as required per established procedures and deliver all funds to the main cashier at the end of the shift. * If merchandise is missing from the system, promptly request its addition from your immediate supervisor. * Keep your work area clean and organized.
