**Accounting Assistant** ***FERNANDEZ CUETO PALACIOS Y COMPAÑIA SC***, a public accounting firm established in 1977 in the southern part of Mexico City, is seeking an *Accounting Assistant.* **Main Responsibilities:** * Posting journal entries (debits and credits). * Bank reconciliations. * Identifying receivables and payments. * Tax calculation. * Filing monthly and annual tax returns. * Preparing financial statements. * Collaborating closely with other departments to ensure the accuracy of financial information. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. * Prior experience in a similar role is desirable. * Previous experience using ERP systems (**CONTPAQi**). * Ability to work with budgets and conduct financial analysis. * Proficiency in Excel (Intermediate/Advanced level). * English (Intermediate/Advanced level). **Education:** * Incomplete or ongoing bachelor’s degree (desirable). * Completed bachelor’s degree. **Experience:** * General accounting: 1 year (desirable). **Position Type:** * Full-time, indefinite-term contract.
