Description
We are seeking a Sommelier passionate about the world of wine and customer experience, with a commercial and consultative focus, capable of creating memorable purchasing experiences through specialized advisory services on wines, spirits, and gourmet products.
The role will be responsible for driving premium product sales, strengthening customer loyalty, and contributing to brand positioning through exceptional service and solid technical knowledge of the product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personalized advice on wines, spirits, and gourmet products.
* Recommend labels and food pairings based on customer preferences and needs.
* Drive consultative sales of premium products and current promotions.
* Conduct in-store tastings, wine flights, and product demonstrations.
* Ensure proper product display, placement, and stock rotation.
* Verify labeling, pricing, and optimal product conditions.
* Support physical inventory counts, stock control, and monitoring of high-turnover items.
* Create differentiated shopping experiences aimed at customer retention.
* Stay updated on market trends, wine regions, wineries, and new products.
* Participate in commercial activations, events, and training sessions.
* Achieve company-established sales targets and service standards.
* Report incidents, shrinkage, or damaged products.
* Support store operational activities as required.
Required Profile
Education
* Completed high school diploma.
* Completed Sommelier certification program (mandatory and non-negotiable).
Experience
* Minimum 1.5 years in retail sales, wine, gourmet restaurants, or customer service.
* Prior experience as a Sommelier, wine advisor, or specialized sales associate is desirable.
Technical Knowledge
* Knowledge of wines, spirits, and gourmet products.
* Food pairing and tasting techniques.
* Consultative selling and customer service.
* Inventory handling and control.
* Knowledge of wine regions and grape varieties.
* Product display and placement.

Schedule
Six working days per week with one weekday off.
Rotating shifts:
* Opening shift: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
* Mid-shift: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
* Closing shift: 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Additional Requirements
* Availability to work weekends and holidays.
* Availability to attend corporate training sessions.
* Residence in CDMX or the metropolitan area.
Salary: $12,000.00 - $14,000.00 per month
