Summary: This role supports making gospel teachings accessible by performing print operations, ensuring quality, and preparing garments for shipment in a fast-paced environment. Highlights: 1. Performs diverse print operations, including mixing inks and creating screens. 2. Ensures quality and integrity of print, detecting color variations. 3. Physical role involving repetitive movements and lifting up to 50 lbs. This position helps make gospel teachings, resources, or services accessible to all in a simple and affordable way, supporting the mission of the Church. The incumbent ensures all garments are labeled and marked in preparation for packaging and shipment. Performs assigned print operations using designated machines and computer systems while maintaining production rates and ensuring quality and integrity of the print. Performs all functions of a print operator 1 as well as the following * Sets up print jobs and sets the pace for the print line operations * Mixing inks * Creating Screens and / or Plates * Sets production screens and plates, placing them in proper alignment and position * Solves printing problems * May manually apply print to product * Completes production records * Must be able to detect color variations to ensure print integrity Coordinates with supervisor on daily needs and assignments Performs general housekeeping duties for products and assigned areas * High School diploma or equivalent required, 4 years work experience may be substituted * Basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills required * 2 years work experience required, preferably in a fast pace production environment * High degree of accuracy in counting and comparing information * Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills * Must be able to effectively communicate with team * Must be able to walk, stand, bend, and perform fast, repetitive movements for a minimum of 8 hours per day * Must be able to physically lift/move/push/pull items up to 50lbs. alone (or occasionally lift up to 100 lbs. with two people) * Operate a pallet jack containing up to 2,500 lbs. * Stand and move throughout the shift * The nature of this work is physical demanding and fast\-paced * Work overtime, if needed, based on production needs
