Handling and storage of raw materials As its name suggests, the Kitchen Assistant supports chefs with simple tasks, very few of which involve actual cooking. Extensive experience is not required, making it an ideal position for individuals just starting out in the culinary field. Some responsibilities include: - Cleaning and disinfecting fruits and vegetables. - Receiving supplies and organizing them according to product type. - Assisting with cleaning in the kitchen area. - Assisting in food preparation (simple tasks such as cutting lettuce and other leafy greens, portioning proteins, blending sauces, labeling prepared items). - Storing raw materials and prepared items using the FIFO method.
