We are seeking: **GENERAL LAUNDRY ASSISTANT** **Job Objective** * We seek a responsible General Laundry Assistant to support washing, drying, ironing, folding, sorting, and delivery of linens, garments, and textiles, ensuring compliance with the company’s established quality, hygiene, and presentation standards. The incumbent will collaborate in daily laundry operations, ensuring proper handling of garments, correct use of equipment, and proper maintenance of assigned materials. Key Responsibilities **Functions and Responsibilities** * Receive, sort, and separate garments by type, level of soiling, and color. * Operate washing, drying, and ironing machines correctly. * Use cleaning products according to procedures and safety guidelines. * Inspect garments to ensure they are clean, stain-free, and undamaged; report any irregularities. * Fold, organize, and deliver finished garments to respective departments (floors, kitchen, restaurant, front desk, etc.). * Maintain cleanliness and order in the laundry area. * Monitor basic inventory levels of detergents, fabric softeners, and other supplies. * Assist with uniform labeling when required. * Comply with hygiene, safety, and personal protective equipment regulations. * Report machinery malfunctions or maintenance needs. **Job Profile** * Education: Completed secondary school (preferred). * Experience: Preferably 6 months to 1 year in industrial laundry or similar setting (not mandatory). * Knowledge: * Basic operation of washing and ironing machines. * Proper use of cleaning chemicals. * Folding and sorting techniques. **Skills**: * Attention to detail. * Organization. * Ability to work under pressure. * Honesty and responsibility. * Teamwork. **Working Conditions** * Fixed working hours. * Work in humid environments with heat generated by machinery. * Moderate physical workload. **INTERESTED?
