Position Summary: Supports international trade operations by managing customs documentation, reconciling information, and coordinating import/export movements. Key Highlights: 1. Description and details of responsibilities * Provides support and follow-up on customs documentation related to imported materials and machinery. * Validates and reconciles physical and documentary information for imported machinery, identifying potential errors or discrepancies. * Prepares labels and inventories for machines and equipment located within the plant. * Supports the execution and coordination of virtual transfer movements for Import/Export operations. * Assists the department with general activities and special requirements during audits. * Maintains physical and electronic departmental files properly organized and up to date. * Supports physical inventories and inspections of materials and equipment prior to export to the United States. * Assists in preparing invoices for customs entry procedures involving special operations, such as changes in the customs regime of goods. * Generates spreadsheets via the Annex 24 (A24\) system. * Supports all programs and initiatives of the Hygiene, Safety, and Environment departments. * Supports all programs and initiatives related to the Internal Work Regulations and Company Values. Experience and Requirements In accordance with current customs regulations and using established systems and procedures, collects information and prepares required documentation for U.S. and Mexican customs, including shipping invoices, as well as control of equipment and materials processed in international trade. * Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in International Trade or Logistics * Basic level of technical English * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Experience with Annex 24 (SEER) and MRP systems * Strong analytical and interdepartmental communication skills * Knowledge of customs laws and regulations.
