##### ***Mérida******,*** ***YUC******,*** ***Mexico*** We are seeking an **Excel Expert** to fill a key technical role responsible for the architecture, development, and maintenance of advanced analytical tools and Business Intelligence solutions. This position requires a professional capable of transforming complex, multi-source raw data into structured, scalable, and high-impact visual resources that facilitate strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will serve as a specialized internal consultant, optimizing data workflows through automation and ensuring business logic integrity across every model. They will be responsible for the full lifecycle of data reports: from initial ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to the implementation of interactive dashboards. ##### **Responsibilities:** * Design and develop interactive dashboards and executive reports in Excel and Power BI. * Build and maintain scalable, structured data models for business analytics. * Perform ETL processes using Power Query and various data sources. * Automate operational tasks and workflows using advanced Excel tools and scripting. * Consolidate, clean, and validate data originating from multiple sources. * Develop KPIs, metrics, and advanced calculations using DAX and analytical logic. * Identify opportunities for internal process improvement and optimization through technological solutions. * Collaborate with operational and executive teams to translate business needs into analytical solutions. * Ensure the quality, integrity, and consistency of data used in reports and analyses. * Document implemented processes, models, and solutions, adhering to best practices in Business Intelligence and data visualization. ##### **Requirements:** * **Bachelor’s or Master’s degree** in Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative field. * **Proficiency in Microsoft Excel**, including advanced array formulas, Power Pivot, and complex logical functions. * **Strong ability to connect, clean, and consolidate data** from disparate sources (SQL, APIs, flat files, etc.) using Power Query. * **Proven ability** to apply professional design principles and create intuitive executive dashboards highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs). * **Exceptional ability to structure unstructured information**, maintaining high standards of accuracy and data validation. * **Advanced English language proficiency**, both written and spoken, for international collaboration. ##### **Desirable:** * **Automation and scripting:** Proficiency in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) for task automation or Office scripting. * **Database management:** Practical knowledge of SQL for direct data extraction and manipulation. * **Process optimization:** Familiarity with Power Automate for optimizing data-driven workflows. * **Professional certification:** Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL\-300\) or equivalent. * **User interface/user experience (UI/UX) design for analytics:** Experience applying UI/UX principles focused on enhancing user experience in reports and dashboards. * **Programming fundamentals:** Basic knowledge of Python or R for statistical analysis and data enhancement. ##### **We Offer:** * Professional development opportunities. * Involvement in challenging and impactful projects. * A collaborative, continuously learning work environment. ##### **Required Documents:** * CV in English. * Scanned copy of both sides of your INE (National Identity Card) or residence/work permit. * Portfolio: Documentation or visual evidence of previous BI projects, complex Excel models, or Power BI dashboards.
