




Job Summary: We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to ensure optimal operation of critical equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance, program development, and specialized testing. Education: Industrial Electrical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Mechanical Engineer. Driver’s License: Standard license required. Availability: Willingness to travel and perform field assignments. Desirable: Training courses in UPS systems, medium- and high-voltage systems. Responsibilities and Objectives: Ensure optimal operation of client’s critical equipment (UPS systems, emergency power plants, medium-voltage transformers, voltage regulators, and electrical substations). Develop and monitor quarterly scheduled maintenance programs to extend the functional lifespan of critical equipment. Internal and external cleaning of UPS units. Visual inspection of internal components (UPS) at the circuit board level. Temperature system inspection (fan replacement if required). Battery testing with general parameter measurements (voltage). Application of anti-static liquid to UPS enclosures. Load testing of UPS units for over 30 minutes to ensure optimal battery bank performance. Minor general inspection of emergency power plants (high-pressure washing, component inspection, indicators, sensors, oil, refrigerant, and battery fluid levels; operational and load testing for over 30 minutes; temperature inspection using thermal gun or thermographic camera). Perform transformation ratio tests, insulation resistance tests, winding ohmic tests, circuit breaker and relay trip tests, and excitation current tests. Conduct hot-spot analysis. Perform grounding and power factor tests. Visual inspection of indicators, meters, internal components, and primary circuit boards of voltage regulators. Test internal regulator transformers. Test parameters and perform internal and external cleaning of voltage regulators. General cleaning of substations. Load monitoring. Perform thermographic camera inspections. Inspect grounding connections, high-voltage and low-voltage cables. General corrosion inspection, pressure relief valves, oil drain valves, and bushing condition. Perform insulation resistance and transformation ratio tests, and contact resistance inspection. Dielectric strength testing of insulating liquids. Inspection of measurement accessories and general parameters. Procurement and quotation of required work materials. Conduct inventory of critical equipment under your responsibility, aligned with your assigned zone.
