We have an excellent opportunity for you as an **Ocean Freight Specialist**, based in **Monterrey, Nuevo León.** **What will be your primary objective in this role?** To serve as the customer’s main point of contact to understand and fulfill their air freight shipment requirements, and to ensure each established operation is executed correctly, on time, and as agreed. **What will you do in this role?** * Develop and maintain effective, close relationships with assigned customers within your portfolio. * Keep customers under your responsibility informed about shipment status and exceptions. * Coordinate end\-to\-end maritime import operations. * Manage and resolve complaints or issues under your control and/or escalate them to the appropriate departments. * Ensure customer requirements are clearly understood by all departments involved in the service, and implement corrective actions as needed in case of deviations (operational or administrative). * Perform booking provisions and optimization in accordance with internal guidelines. * Maintain Gross Profit (GP) control aligned with the account’s estimated average per shipment under your responsibility. * Ensure correct tariff application to shipments under your responsibility. * Coordinate with origin agents, carriers, and customs brokers. **What can you bring to this role?** * Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Foreign Commerce, Transportation Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in maritime operations (imports). * Experience in customer service. * Knowledge of maritime import and export processes. * Advanced English proficiency. **Why should you join our team?** You’ll have the opportunity to work for an international company in a multicultural environment.
