**MEDIO REQUISITOS:** · GENERAL PHYSICIAN **Occupational health activities and advisory services in workplace safety and hygiene.** **FUNCTIONS** * **Medical Care**: Provide primary medical care to workers, including treatment of work-related accidents and management of occupational diseases. This includes injury assessment and emergency care. * **Medical Examinations**: Conduct periodic, pre-employment, return-to-work, and exit medical examinations, as well as special examinations according to staff needs. This helps identify health issues before they lead to absenteeism. * **Health Promotion**: Implement health promotion and disease prevention programs, such as vaccination campaigns and education on healthy habits. * **Risk Assessment**: Participate in the identification and evaluation of occupational risks, ensuring that working conditions are safe and comply with hygiene and safety regulations. * **Health Monitoring**: Maintain a medical record for each worker and monitor their health over time, including surveillance of chronic diseases and management of absences. * **Safety Consultation**: Collaborate with the safety and hygiene department to develop and implement occupational health policies, as well as participate in workplace accident investigations.
