A better future? **We're Lear For You.** **NEW CAREER OPPORTUNITY \| ASSISTANT CONTROLLER** **SAN LUIS POTOSI PLANT** The Assistant Controller supports the Plant Controller in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining strong internal controls. This role plays a key part in cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with corporate and statutory requirements. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to partner with operations to drive financial performance. **YOUR TASK WILL BE** * Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements * Support month\-end and year\-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness * Perform cost analysis, variance analysis, and margin tracking * Support budget preparation, forecasts, and financial planning activities * Monitor plant expenses, inventory valuation, and standard costing * Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and local regulations * Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations * Analyze financial data and provide insights to plant management and leadership * Assist in SAP / Oracle financial processes and reporting * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to finance processes **TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLL YOU WILL NEED** * Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance * English: Conversational. * At least 3–5 years of experience in accounting or controlling, preferably in a manufacturing environment * Strong knowledge of general accounting principles (GAAP / IFRS) * Experience with cost accounting, inventory, and variance analysis * Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) * Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) \#LI\-CA1 *Lear Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to a diverse workplace.* *Applicants must submit their resume for consideration using our applicant tracking system.
