





(English fluency required) We are looking for a detail\-oriented and proactive **Accountant** to support our Global operations. This role combines **accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general accounting responsibilities**. You will also collaborate with cross\-functional teams, support HR/payroll activities for all locations, and play a key role in ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting. **Key Responsibilities** **Accounts Payable (AP):** * Enter and process vendor invoices in the ERP system. * Review and process employee expense claims, verifying approvals and documentation. * Manage vendor payments and assist with account reconciliations and vendor statement reviews. * Support payment runs in coordination with the Assistant Controller. **Accounts Receivable (AR):** * Issue customer invoices and apply payments accurately. * Maintain AR aging reports (NET 60–90\) and monitor collections. * Work with the Sales Team to support payment processes and resolve outstanding issues. * Manage chargebacks, claims, and unapproved transactions. * Amazon (ADF): apply payments, upload RMAs, and investigate discrepancies. **General Ledger \& Reconciliations:** * Perform bank and credit card reconciliations. * Merchant reconciliations (Shopify, Braintree, PayPal, Klarna, Moneris). * Support inventory accounting (COGS postings, adjustments) and fixed asset tracking. **Month\-End Support:** * Prepare reconciliations, schedules, and accruals for Assistant Controller review. * Assist with expense coding and financial reporting. **HR \& Administrative (Mexico location):** * Provide accounting\-related HR/payroll support for the Mexico office as needed. **Qualifications \& Experience** * Post\-secondary education in Accounting or related field. * 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable; multi\-currency experience is an asset. * Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices. * Experience with ERP and accounting systems. * Bilingual: **English (required), Spanish (asset).** **Skills \& Abilities** * Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, sorting, filtering, data analysis). * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook). * Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills. * Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams. * Proactive, problem\-solving mindset with initiative to improve processes. * Dependable, results\-driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. * Positive, professional, and accountable in approach.
