Opportunity to automate and design recovery architectures We are looking for a **Platform Engineer** to join our team. In this position, you will focus on creating and supporting secure recovery environments utilizing GKE, Vault, Terraform, and CI/CD solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring that core platform services—including container orchestration, secrets management, identity integration, and automated backup and restore—are reliable, scalable, and easy to reproduce. Working closely with identity, network, and database teams, you will help enable cross\-organization restores, foundational tool recovery, automated image pipelines, and efficient infrastructure provisioning. **Responsibilities** * Build and automate recovery platforms on GKE, develop image factory pipelines, and manage CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, Terraform, and Vault * Set up secure secrets management and integrate identity solutions for systems that rely on Active Directory, such as Jenkins and Vault * Assist with cross\-organization database recovery, oversee Cloud SQL restore operations, and ensure backup validation * Create automation for new greenfield environments, including domain configuration and credential management * Work with teams to design recovery architectures, plan for failover events, and define strategies for environment isolation **Requirements** * At least 2 years of experience as a Platform Engineer or in a similar role * Strong skills in GKE or Kubernetes for managing containerized environments * Proficiency with Terraform for automating infrastructure and Vault for managing secrets * Practical experience with CI/CD automation, especially using Jenkins * Solid understanding of cloud platform recovery, identity integration, and secure infrastructure practices * English language proficiency at B2\+ level or above, both written and spoken **Nice to have** * Experience handling Cloud SQL restore processes for database recovery * Knowledge of Ping Identity for advanced identity management solutions * Familiarity with cross\-cloud recovery methods to support robust platform operations * Understanding of air\-gapped build pipelines for secure, isolated deployments
