




**Business Development Representative (BDR) – Waste Management** **Area:** Sales / Business Development **Reports to:** General Manager and Presidency **Location:** Mexico City \- Remote (availability to attend in-person expos, fairs, and summits) **Ideal Age:** 28 to 35 years **Position Objective:** Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities in the environmental sector, primarily focused on waste management. This role requires a highly results-oriented profile (hunter), with solid technical and legal knowledge of the industry. **Main Responsibilities:** * Prospect new clients in key sectors with needs in comprehensive waste management. * Develop and execute commercial strategies to enter markets within regulated industries. * Attend and represent the company at fairs, exhibitions, conferences, and industry summits. * Prepare commercial proposals aligned with environmental and safety regulations. * Accurately follow up on leads and opportunities until closure. * Collaborate closely with general management and presidency to align sales objectives with organizational strategy. * Keep the customer database updated, reporting progress and projections. **Profile Requirements:** **Education:** * Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Safety, or related field (desirable). **Experience:** * 3 to 5 years in B2B sales with a consultative focus. * Previous experience in **environmental consulting firms** or **authorities such as STPS** or related organizations is desirable. * Solid knowledge of environmental legislation, waste management, and applicable regulations. * Proven experience in a hunter role. **Skills and Competencies:** * Strong results orientation and ability to close sales. * Ability to explain technical or regulatory topics to non-specialized clients. * Autonomy and proactivity. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to manage schedule remotely with a goal-focused approach. * Leadership potential to lead a sales team in the medium term. **Languages:** * English **not required**. **Conditions:** * Work based in Mexico City under remote modality.
