Their primary function is to develop detailed budgets by analyzing materials, labor, machinery, and indirect costs, ensuring competitiveness in public and private tenders and profitability during execution. 2\. Key Responsibilities * **Budget Integration:** Develop cost structures (Unit Prices) for public and private construction tenders. * **Input Analysis:** Quote and update material databases, analyzing productivity and waste. * **Factor Calculation:** Determine the **Real Wage Factor (FASAR)**, analyze **Hourly Machinery Costs**, and calculate percentages for **Indirects, Financing, and Profit**. * **Input Breakdown:** Generate the complete list of resources required for procurement planning. * **Quantification (Take-offs):** Review or perform volumetric calculations based on architectural and engineering drawings. * **Cost Adjustment:** Perform price escalations or updates due to inflation or market fluctuations. 3\.
