Position Identification** * **Department:** Tenders / Costing and Budgeting. * **Reports to:** Administration Director / Engineering Management. * **Position Objective:** To integrate competitive economic proposals and technically sound proposals for public and private tenders, ensuring project profitability and regulatory compliance. **2\. Key Responsibilities** * **Economic Proposal Integration:** Prepare baseline budgets, input breakdowns, hourly cost analyses, indirect costs, financing, and profit margins. * **Unit Price Analysis (UPA):** Research and update current market costs for materials, labor, and machinery. * **Tender Management:** Assemble the "Economic Envelope" strictly adhering to tender specifications (Federal, State, or Private). * **Real Wage Factor (FASAR) Calculation:** Accurately determine labor costs, including statutory benefits and employer-employee contributions (IMSS, INFONAVIT). * **Subcontractor Comparisons:** Analyze and benchmark quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to select the most cost-effective option. * **Cost Adjustment:** Prepare escalation clauses and claims for price increases during project execution. **3\.
