As we scale, we are looking for an experienced and detail\-oriented individual to lead quality assurance efforts for our core platform and infrastructure. **Role Overview** As an experienced and highly skilled Senior QA Engineer, you will provide a critical service in quality assurance for our cloud\-based platform hosted on Kubernetes. This role involves contributing to the testing strategy, overseeing end\-to\-end (E2E), API, and performance testing, and ensuring the highest levels of platform reliability. You will collaborate closely with product managers and developers, take ownership of release sign\-offs, and guide junior QA engineers in quality best practices as the team grows. Our platform uses a wide range of database technologies, so experience in multi\-database environments is essential. **What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)** *QA Strategy and Leadership* * Design, implement, and manage QA strategies and processes for cloud\-based applications deployed on Kubernetes. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and increase efficiency. *Test Planning and Execution* * Develop comprehensive test plans for new features and releases, covering functional, integration, performance, and security testing. * Collaborate with development teams to ensure test coverage across a variety of databases (SQL, NoSQL, non\-relational). * Actively participate in requirement definition meetings with product and development teams to provide feedback on technical and functional specifications. * Design and execute automated test cases, particularly focusing on CI/CD pipelines within the Kubernetes environment.*Cloud and Kubernetes Testing* * Design test scenarios specifically for Kubernetes clusters, ensuring application resilience, scalability, and high availability. * Perform testing of containerized applications, including validating service scaling, load balancing, and failover recovery. * Establish methods for monitoring and logging to detect issues proactively and ensure robust testing within dynamic cloud environments. *Defect Management and Quality Reporting* * Manage the defect lifecycle, tracking and prioritizing issues to ensure prompt resolution. * Develop and present quality reports, key metrics, and test summaries to management, providing visibility into the overall health of the platform. * Identify and communicate risks associated with platform stability, scalability, and performance. **What You Bring (Key Skills, Experience \& Qualifications)** *Required Skills:* * 5\+ years in software testing or QA, with experience as a Senior QA or similar role. * Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly within Kubernetes\-based environments, and familiarity with networking protocols (HTTP, WebSockets). * Hands\-on experience with multiple database types (SQL, NoSQL, non\-relational, key:value), including testing and troubleshooting. * Proficiency in designing and implementing automated test scripts; experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).Experience with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Shell) for automation and test case creation. * Experience working in Agile environments, participating in sprint planning, daily stand\-ups, and retrospectives. * Familiarity with: Automated testing tools: WebdriverIO, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Appium * API testing tools: Karate, REST Assured, Postman * Load testing frameworks: Gatling, K6 * Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate cross\-functionally with engineering, DevOps, and product teams.**What We Offer** * A dynamic and collaborative work environment in a fast\-growing technology division of a global tech company. * Competitive salary * Opportunities for rapid growth and professional development. * Flexible working arrangements and a strong focus on work\-life balance.
