The developer will work closely with **U.S.\-based engineering leads** and integrate into an established development pod focused on delivering enhancements to a modern healthcare platform. This role is ideal for engineers who are comfortable working in **Python\-heavy environments with AWS services**, and who thrive in **collaborative, distributed teams**. **Responsibilities** * Develop and enhance platform features using **Python (approx. 90% of the work)**. * Build and maintain backend services running on **AWS cloud infrastructure**. * Work with **AWS services such as RDS and OpenSearch**. * Contribute to the implementation of **key Python enhancements planned over a six\-month roadmap**. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams including **Product, QA, and Engineering Leads**. * Participate in agile workflows using **JIRA and Slack for communication and task tracking**. * Support development across the **full software development lifecycle** (design, development, testing, deployment). * Apply **AI\-assisted development tools** to improve development efficiency and output. **Required Qualifications** * **3–6\+ years of professional experience in Python development** * Strong experience with **AWS services** (especially **RDS and OpenSearch**) * Experience working with **cloud\-native architectures** * Familiarity with **DevOps practices and CI/CD workflows** * Experience working across the **full development lifecycle** * Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a **remote team environment** * **Advanced English proficiency (required)** **Nice to Have** * Experience using **AI development tools or AI\-assisted coding environments** * Previous experience in **healthcare platforms or collaboration tools** * Experience supporting **scalable cloud platforms** **Work Environment** * Collaborative engineering environment with **embedded QA and product support** * Equipment provisioning and access managed through **Okta** with remote IT support.
