**Objective of the Position:** To develop and design mechanical components and systems, including the preparation of calculation reports for static and dynamic equipment that meet the standards of functionality, efficiency, and sustainability in industrial projects. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform conceptual and detailed design of mechanical components, ensuring compliance with applicable technical specifications and regulations. * Prepare calculation reports for static and dynamic equipment, including load analysis, material strength, and mechanical performance. * Calculate the capacity of dynamic mechanical equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, motors) and static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks). * Develop data sheets, basic engineering, and detailed engineering for industrial projects. * Create drawings, diagrams, and 3D models using mechanical design software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.). * Ensure that all designs, calculations, and processes comply with international safety and quality standards in mechanical engineering. * Utilize computer\-aided design software to create 3D models and technical drawings, ensuring precision in dimensions and tolerances. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective solutions that integrate various disciplines. * Conduct simulations and feasibility analyses of designs to evaluate performance and optimize functionality. * Select appropriate materials and equipment for the designed components, considering factors such as cost, availability, and sustainability. * Document the design process and maintain up\-to\-date technical documentation, ensuring traceability and compliance with quality standards. * Provide technical support by resolving issues that may arise during the process. **Requirements:** * Degree in Mechanical Engineering (ESSENTIAL). * Intermediate conversational English. * Minimum of three to five years of experience in mechanical design calculations, preferably in industrial environments. * Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NavisWorks, and MicroStation V8i. * Solid knowledge in the preparation of calculation reports for static and dynamic equipment, as well as in industrial safety standards and regulations. * Analytical and problem\-solving skills to effectively address technical challenges. **Soft Skills:** * Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with different departments. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to present ideas and projects. * Creativity and innovation in seeking design solutions. * Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment. **Desirable Competencies:** * Experience in projects for AAA companies, as well as certifications in project management such as PMP or Lean, will be valued. * Knowledge of BIM and international experience or involvement in global projects are also a plus. **Location and Schedule:** * Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM (in\-person).
