Optimizes GKE clusters or Cloud Run services for deployment **Role Description** We are looking for a DevOps Engineer passionate about automation and scalability to manage infrastructure for our platforms built with **Django**. Your primary mission will be to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring our applications on **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)** are secure, resilient, and highly available. **Key Responsibilities** * **Deployment and Orchestration:** Administer and optimize **Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)** clusters or **Cloud Run** services for Django application deployment. * **CI/CD:** Design and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines (using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build). * **Infrastructure as Code (IaC):** Manage GCP resources using **Terraform** or Pulumi. * **Database Optimization:** Configure and monitor **Cloud SQL** instances * **(PostgreSQL)** to ensure optimal performance of Django’s data layer. * **Monitoring and Alerting:** Implement observability solutions using Google Cloud Observability (Stackdriver), Prometheus, or Grafana. * **Security:** Manage secrets, SSL certificates, and IAM policies to protect infrastructure. **Required Technical Profile** * **Cloud Experience:** \+3 years of hands-on experience specifically with **Google Cloud Platform**. * **Django Proficiency:** Deep understanding of Django architecture (WSGI/ASGI, Gunicorn/Uvicorn, static/media file handling in Cloud Storage). * **Containers:** Advanced experience with **Docker** and **Kubernetes**. * **Networking:** Knowledge of load balancers, VPCs, Cloud DNS, and CDNs. * **Scripting:** Proficiency in **Python** and Bash for task automation. **Desirable (Plus)** * Google Cloud certification (Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Cloud Architect). * Experience with Redis or Memcached for Django caching. * Familiarity with security tools (SAST/DAST) integrated into the pipeline.
