Job Summary: We are seeking a DevOps / Platform Engineer to lead the migration and modernization of CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on GitHub Actions and advanced AI-powered automation. Transform legacy pipelines (Jenkins) into modern, scalable solutions. ### **Role Description** We are looking for a **DevOps / Platform Engineer** to lead the **migration and modernization of CI/CD pipelines**, focusing on the adoption of **GitHub Actions**, advanced automation, and the use of **Artificial Intelligence tools**. The primary objective of this role is to **analyze legacy pipelines (primarily Jenkins)** and **transform them into modern, standardized, and scalable solutions** on GitHub, leveraging automation, containers, and AI to improve efficiency, security, and maintainability. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Analyze existing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins and other legacy environments). * Design and execute the **migration of pipelines to GitHub Actions**. * Create and optimize workflows using **GitHub Actions, YAML, and JSON schemas**. * Automate processes via **advanced scripting (Bash / Shell)**. * Integrate pipelines with **Docker and containers**, ensuring isolation and reproducibility. * Manage **artifacts, security, identity, and access** (Artifactory, tokens, OIDC). * Use **AI tools** (GitHub Copilot, Gemini, or others) for: + Pipeline generation and optimization + Issue detection + Acceleration of migrations * Propose CI/CD best practices and platform-wide standards. * Collaborate with development teams to ensure a smooth transition. **Core (Mandatory)** * Solid experience in **DevOps / CI\-CD / Platform Engineering**. * GitHub Actions: workflow design, pipeline refactoring, and YAML/JSON usage. * **Advanced scripting** in Bash / Shell. * Experience with **Docker and containers** in CI/CD environments. * Management of legacy pipelines (especially **Jenkins**) and migration to modern platforms. * Knowledge of **security, identity, and artifact management**. **Exposure to Java (not development)** * Strong understanding of the **Java and Maven ecosystem**, focused on: + Builds + Dependency management + Test execution + Static analysis **Nice to have** * Use of **AI applied to automation** (GitHub Copilot, Gemini, etc.). * Experience in large-scale pipeline standardization. * Background in complex enterprise environments.
