We are looking for a **DBA Manager** with strong technical experience and leadership skills to lead the database team and ensure highly available architectures in SQL Server, Aurora PostgreSQL, and AWS services. **Main Responsibilities:** * Lead and develop the DBA team. * Design and maintain HA architectures (Always On, clusters, replication). * Manage on\-premise and AWS databases (RDS, Aurora, NoSQL: DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Redis). * Optimize performance, storage, backups, and security. * Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams. * Automate DB tasks using IaC (CloudFormation/Terraform). * Manage migrations, upgrades, and DRP. * Define standards, policies, and data models aligned with microservices. **Requirements:** * Degree in Computer Engineering or related field. * **7\+ years** of experience with SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL. * **3\+ years** leading DBA teams. * Extensive experience in AWS (RDS, Aurora, DMS) and microservices environments (ECS, Fargate, Kubernetes). * Proven experience in complex on\-premise to AWS migrations. * Knowledge in optimization, tuning, security, and capacity planning. * Advanced technical English (B2\+). **Desirable / Plus:** * AWS Database – Specialty certification. * Experience with DevOps and CI/CD. * Additional knowledge: MySQL, Oracle. **Work Mode and Schedule:** * **Hybrid:** 3 days in office / 2 days remote. * Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. * Hybrid – Monterrey, NL * Availability to handle critical incidents and maintenance. **We Offer:** * Direct company hiring, 100% permanent * Benefits exceeding legal requirements * 30 days of Christmas bonus * Hybrid work * Growth opportunities.
