Position: **Cloud Engineer GCP** Location: Mexico Work Model: Hybrid Office (3 days in office / 2 days remote) \| **Remote Mexico if you do not reside in NL.** Contract Type: 6 months Schedule: Monday to Friday Language: Intermediate English preferred Working Hours: 09:00 to 19:00 hrs. Education: Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field **Role: Cloud Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer.** **Prescreening Filters (MUST HAVE \- Non-negotiable):** * Core Experience: Proven experience in cloud cost optimization (FinOps) and large-scale cloud infrastructure management (environments with high project volume and spend). * Tools/Tech: Advanced proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Terraform (Infrastructure as Code). * Methodologies: FinOps practices, DevOps deployments, and cloud governance strategies. **Nice-to-Have (NICE TO HAVE \- Desirable):** * Official Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer). * FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP) certification. * Exceptional negotiation and communication skills to align technical and financial objectives with other organizational areas. **Key Responsibilities (For Headhunter Context):** * Implement cost optimization and governance strategies for a highly complex GCP environment (managing over 302 concurrent projects). * Design, deploy, and maintain cloud architecture using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). * Fulfill internal team infrastructure requirements, acting as a consultative liaison through active dialogue and negotiation with various operational departments. **We Offer:** \- Competitive salary based on experience \- Statutory benefits (e.g., vacation bonus, social security, year-end bonus, etc.) \- Opportunity for professional growth.
