Leadership, decision-making, and strong work ethics DESCRIPTION Eosol Group seeks to add a Catenary Electrical Engineer with 5 years of experience to our team for the exciting Trolleybus project in Ixtapaluca. This position requires on-site supervision skills to ensure successful execution of works, meeting the highest quality and safety standards. As the Catenary Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for direct on-site supervision, ensuring proper assembly, installation, and commissioning of catenary systems. You will collaborate closely with engineering and construction teams to resolve technical challenges, coordinate activities, and ensure adherence to project timelines and specifications. We seek a proactive professional with strong leadership capabilities, sound decision-making skills, and solid work ethics. Your experience in similar projects and knowledge of railway or tramway electrification systems will be essential for success in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** * Supervise daily on-site activities related to catenary system installation. * Ensure compliance with design drawings, technical specifications, and applicable regulations. * Coordinate technical staff and subcontractors at the construction site. * Identify, analyze, and propose solutions to technical issues arising during execution. * Conduct quality and safety inspections, ensuring adherence to established procedures. * Prepare construction progress reports, including work status, incidents, and deviations. * Control efficient use of resources (materials, equipment, personnel) assigned to catenary tasks. * Participate in coordination meetings with clients, project management, and other departments. * Ensure correct interpretation and application of electrical designs and schematics. * Manage technical documentation related to construction (drawings, permits, certificates, etc.). * Promote and maintain a safe and healthy working environment across all areas under your supervision. * Verify proper execution of tests and commissioning of the catenary system. **Position Requirements:** * University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Mechanical Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum 5 years of verifiable on-site supervision experience, specifically in catenary systems or railway/tramway electrification. * In-depth knowledge of catenary system components (cables, poles, insulators, etc.) and their installation. * Experience interpreting electrical, mechanical, and detailed drawings. * Familiarity with technical and safety regulations applicable to high-voltage electrical installations. * Strong leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines. * Excellent communication and writing skills for report preparation. * Willingness to reside or relocate to the project area in Ixtapaluca. * Results-oriented mindset focused on achieving objectives. **Desirable Skills:** * Master’s degree or specialization in electrical engineering or related fields. * Experience in mass public transportation projects (metro, tram, trolleybus). * Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software. * Certifications in industrial safety or project management. * English language proficiency (intermediate or advanced level).
