Summary: We are seeking a hands-on Application Support Engineer (L2) to ensure the stability and availability of critical production systems, performing deep technical troubleshooting and collaborating with engineering teams. Highlights: 1. Support critical production systems in a high-impact environment. 2. Investigate and resolve incidents using logs, metrics, and monitoring tools. 3. Collaborate with L3 and engineering teams on complex issues. **Application Support Engineer (L2\) – Java/Linux** We are looking for a **hands\-on Application Support Engineer (L2\)** to support the stability and availability of critical production systems. You will investigate and resolve incidents escalated from L1, perform deep technical troubleshooting, and collaborate closely with engineering teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in **high\-impact environments**, analyzing issues using logs and monitoring tools, and taking ownership of incidents end\-to\-end. **What You’ll Do** * Investigate and resolve **production incidents** escalated from L1 * Perform **deep troubleshooting** using logs, metrics, and monitoring tools * Analyze **Java stack traces** and system behavior to identify root causes * Work in **Linux environments** (log analysis, basic commands, scripting) * Execute and improve **runbooks and operational procedures** * Collaborate with **L3 and engineering teams** on complex issues * Identify recurring problems and contribute to **root cause analysis** * Communicate incident updates clearly to technical and non\-technical stakeholders * Participate in **on\-call and weekend rotations** **What We’re Looking For** * 2\+ years of experience in **Application Support / Production Support / SRE / similar roles** * Working knowledge of **Java (or similar)** – ability to read code and understand stack traces * Hands\-on experience with **Linux** environments * Experience with **incident management** (priorities, SLAs, escalation) * Strong **analytical and troubleshooting skills** * Good communication and collaboration skills **Nice to Have** * Experience with **monitoring tools** (Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, etc.) * Basic **SQL** for data validation and troubleshooting * Exposure to **microservices / distributed systems** * Experience supporting **high\-availability or real\-time systems** * Background in **financial or trading systems** (a plus, not required) * Experience in **Agile/DevOps environments** Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent Pay: $28,000\.00 \- $38,000\.00 per month Application Question(s): * Describe a production incident you handled end\-to\-end.
